Height: Approx. 5.5 inches (12.7 cm)

Width: Approx. 3.5 inches (10.16 cm)

This statue is for people who are either looking for peace and clam in their lives, or for those who wish to improve their own meditation skills. People will often buy a Meditation Buddha if they want to set up a "serenity room" or a corner of their house where they can sit in calm for a little while and unwind.
In this pose, the Buddha is depicted with both hands in the lap, face up, and the legs are crossed, either in a Double Lotus pose (with the ankles of each leg tucked behind one another in a locked position), or in a Single Lotus pose (where one leg rests on top of the other leg). Occasionally, an alms bowl is placed in the lap as well.

As this statue generally represents focused concentration, the eyes of the Buddha are either depicted as halfway closed, or closed nearly all the way. The silhouette of the statue is shaped - more or less - like a triangle, which represents stability.

The body of this Buddha has been engraved along with Dragon symbol on the back which symbolizes protection. The bottom of the statue has been engraved with the Healing Mantra " OM MA NI PAD MI HU"

OM – It is a blessing to help you to achieve perfection in the practice of generosity.
MA – It helps to achieve perfection in the practice of pure ethics.
NI – helps to achieve perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience.
PAD - helps to achieve perfection in the practice of preservance.
MI – helps to achieve perfection in the practice of concentration.
HU – helps to achieve perfection in the presence of wisdom.

So, this way the recitation of this mantra helps to achieve perfection in the six practices from generosity to wisdom.21:["$","$L29",null,{"children":[["$","$L1e",null,{}],["$","$L2a","a137101d-f362-43a5-9f0d-8c6b53ff9fdb",{"product":{"id":"a137101d-f362-43a5-9f0d-8c6b53ff9fdb","title":"Handcarved Meditation Buddha Statue","handle":"handcarved-meditation-buddha-statue","product_url":"https://karmanepalcrafts.com/products/handcarved-meditation-buddha-statue","price_min":3360,"compare_at_price_min":4200,"currency":"USD","archived_at":null,"dominant_color":"#F7F6F5","description_html":"$2b","options":[{"id":"$undefined","name":"Color","values":["Red","Beige"]}],"images":[{"id":39295458672886,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3649.jpg?v=1762460639","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458607350,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3660.jpg?v=1695836753","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458476278,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3659.jpg?v=1695836751","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458509046,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3658.jpg?v=1695836752","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458443510,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3657.jpg?v=1695836751","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458377974,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3654.jpg?v=1695836750","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458738422,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3653.jpg?v=1695836755","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458541814,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3652.jpg?v=1695836753","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null},{"id":39295458640118,"src":"https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0627/4911/4614/files/DSCF3651.jpg?v=1695836754","width":2048,"height":2048,"alt":null}],"variants":[{"id":45429759017206,"price":3360,"compare_at_price":4200,"available":false,"option1":"Red","option2":null,"option3":null,"image_id":"$undefined"},{"id":45429759115510,"price":3360,"compare_at_price":4200,"available":true,"option1":"Beige","option2":null,"option3":null,"image_id":"$undefined"}]},"brand":{"id":"1bd3b68f-943d-4403-8199-da5f0c99eb83","slug":"karma-nepal-crafts","name":"Karma Nepal Crafts"},"material":null,"similarProducts":"$@2c"}]]}]
