Why does a core-spun fabric structure improve trail durability?

Traditional wool fabrics knit at a microweight thickness can occasionally wear thin under continuous friction. Our core-spun method uses a central synthetic filament as a structural anchor. The wool wraps completely around this core, ensuring only natural fibers touch your skin.

How does the material handle moisture during high-intensity activities?

Synthetics trap sweat on the skin surface, which causes a rapid drop in body temperature once you stop moving. Merino wool absorbs moisture vapor directly into the internal structure of its fibers, releasing it into the air.

What makes this specific fabric weight ideal for summer or travel?

This top uses our lightest microweight fabric, which is highly breathable and packs down easily into tight luggage or packs. The natural structure of the wool fiber creates tiny microscopic air pockets that insulate against ambient heat in warm weather.

What are the specific care instructions for maintaining the fabric's shape?

Wash it on a cold cycle with regular detergent and tumble dry on low heat. Avoid fabric softeners or bleach, as these chemical agents can coat the fibers and diminish the natural moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating performance of the wool.
